Medical Tourism Saves You Money, but Which Country is Best?

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Stephen_Todd] Stephen Todd Increasingly, people from the industrialized countries of the world are seeking out places where they can both enjoy a vacation and obtain medical treatment at a lower price, than in their country of residence. Medical tourists are increasing in numbers, but which country is best for medical tourism? Medical Tours to India For medical tourism, India is a relative newcomer, but recent estimates indicate that the number of foreign patients is increasing by 30 percent each year. India has world-class medical facilities, with excellent staff in all areas of medical care. All Indian hospitals are equipped with the latest electronic and medical diagnostic equipment. India also has the technological sophistication and infrastructure to maintain its market lead. Indian pharmaceuticals for example, meet the stringent requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. India’s quality of care is world class, competing with any other industrialized country. Indian medical centres provide services that are in fact uncommon elsewhere. For example, hip surgery patients in India can have a hip-resurfacing procedure, in which damaged bone is taken away and replaced with chrome alloy, an operation that costs less and causes fewer traumas than the traditional replacement operations carried out in western countries. Medical Tours to South East Asia South East Asia offers some great advantages for medical tourism with Thailand being the main destination and the main rival to India. The Thai medical profession is probably the most advanced in the region and successive governments have invested in ensuring the necessary education and training. Many doctors undertake specialist training abroad, particularly in the United States and Europe and are at least as well qualified as physicians in these countries. Singapore and Malaysia also have well developed medical facilities. Medical Tours to the East Indies For North American patients, the East Indies and Costa Rica in particular, are the chosen destinations for medical tourism. Costa Rica provides close, inexpensive, high-quality medical care without a trans-Pacific flight. Cost wise though, it is more expensive for medical tourists generally, particularly from destinations outside of the USA. Medical Tourism in South America Medical tourism in South America is mainly cantered on Brazil, which has been a centre for plastic surgery for many years. With a large influx of medical tourists particularly from the USA, Brazil has built a well-developed healthcare industry in all areas. Although slightly more pricey than many other destinations, you are assured of good quality healthcare in Brazil - one of the most beautiful countries on earth. Argentina also has a flourishing medical tourism industry, but its geographical position is a problem for many. The Rest Medical tourism is growing in other countries with Eastern Europe, Africa, and Dubai entering the industry. Dubai will be providing the Dubai Healthcare City by 2010 and this clinic will be the largest international medical centre between Europe and South East Asia. Including a new branch of the Harvard Medical School, it will be prestigious, but aimed at the medical tourist with more money. Eastern Europe and Africa are emerging markets, but probably have some way to go to match the healthcare services available in countries such as India. India for Medical Tourism There are many choices for medical tourists seeking overseas healthcare and many destinations have reasons to recommend them, but overall for medical tourists, it will be India that will be the most attractive. Why? Simply, India has wide variety of treatments, world-class hospitals, and medical staff, is inexpensive, and offers a beautiful holiday destination. Antique Delft and Very Collectible Tiles and Ceramics: Beginners Start Here

By Joy Pearson So you fancy starting a collection but you’re not sure what to collect? How About . . . ? Every home will contain at least one example or more - in the kitchen, the bathroom, the fire surround. How long have they been in existence and what should we look out for when buying an Old Tile. When trying to identify an old tile, the most difficult aspect is where was it made and when. The most famous tiles are referred to as delft. But why? The term delft is derived from the dutch town of Delft. The Netherlands began to produce tin-glazed earthenware in the late 15 century. Potteries were established in many parts of the Netherlands, Amsterdam, Haarlem and Rotterdam, but by the late 17 century Delft had become the most important centre of production and nearly 30 companies were working in the area. The original delft tile designs came about when Chinese porcelain stopped being imported in the mid 17 century and the popular Chinese wares were reproduced in blue and white. Initially made in blue and white, later in the century the Delft potters introduced a wider variety of colours, yellow, purple, blue, red, green and black. Flemish and Dutch potters arrived and settled in London in 1570, but it wasn’t until the 18 century that the delftware tile industry became established in Britian. The main centres were London, Bristol and Liverpool. The tiles usually depicted flowers, ships, landscapes and many scenes of biblical subjects. So now we know that we’re looking for either Duitch delft or English delft, but it’s quite dificult with these early examples to determine the place of origin. A few tips: Dutch delft often has a gritty texture, thick glaze and ‘peppering’ on the surface caused by air bubbles exploding during firing. Dutch tiles are painted in a very assured manner with great skill and expertise. The tin glaze of Dutch tiles is usually whiter because it contains more tin oxides making it liable to craze. British delftware is typically less finely potted and the glaze is often tinged with blue or pink. Colours tend to be more muted due to the absorbency of the tin glaze used. The glaze is much glossier and smoother than Dutch glaze and it does not craze easily. So to sum up: Gritty, thich white glaze, very well painted, crazed ……. Dutch. Smooth, glazed tinged blue or pink, muted colours, little crazing …. English. Now all you have to do is get out there and start looking, but beware - lots of reproductions so take time to do a bit more studying by way of delftware tiles. Also remember, plates, flower bricks, jugs, posset pots, handwarmers, puzzle jugs, char dishes, vases, bowls and beautifully glazed drug jars for use by apothocaries were produced in delftware, but that’s another story. We run a small but beautifully formed General Antiques Shop which is situated in Kirkby Lonsdale In the Yorkshire Dales/Cumbria Border. http://www.architus.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Joy_Pearson http://EzineArticles.com/?Antique-Delft-and-Very-Collectible-Tiles-and-Ceramics:-Beginners-Start-Here&id=46911 buy phentermine cheap 37.5 mg no doctor contact no rx buy phentermine on line order cheap phentermine purchase phentermine without a prescription

Safety Tips for Common Power Tools

By Debbie Johnston When using power tools, safety is the most important thing to consider. Using power tools correctly and safely will ensure the safety of you and anyone else around you. Different power tools gave different procedures to make sure that they are operating safely. The router is a great tool for shaping wood quickly and cleanly. However, there are several things to keep in mind when using a router. Test out the router on a piece of scrap metal to make sure that it is of the proper depth. If the router is too deep or not deep enough, you will ruin the wood, and potentially harm yourself. Be sure to keep the bit away from the wood when you first start the router. When the router comes up to speed, firmly grip the handle and move the bit slowly and carefully into the object you are working on. Reciprocating saws are used for cutting all kinds of materials, renovating and dismantling structures, and opening up walls. Naturally, this heavy-duty tool should be used with precaution. Holding the reciprocating saw with both hands when using it is a must. It is very powerful and has the ability to pull very hard on the user. The blades for this type of saw range from 6 inches to 12 inches. The blades can break, so have extras, and be careful with the blades when you are finished with the saw because the blades heat up tremendously while being used. The power miter saw is also called a chop saw. It is used to make crisp, quick, and accurate cuts. It is often used on carpentry or picture framing. While in use, this saw should be raised off of the ground (this can be done with two-by-fours). It should be raised because the chips of wood that fall out of the machine can pile up and clog it if it is not elevated. Check the blade guard of the saw, and be sure to be cutting on a sturdy surface. Finally, there are some general safety tips that can be applied to all power tools. Always wear goggles. This tip cannot be stressed enough. Eye injuries are very common when working with power tools, so always protect your eyes. Read all instructions thoroughly. All power tools have their little quirks. Read the instructions and learn the proper way to use the power tool. Follow warning labels. This may seem like a simple safety tip, but many people ignore warnings (for example: they stand on the very top of the ladder, and fall over). Finally, be very careful and eliminate distractions whenever possible. Following these few tips should help you be safer when using any kind of power tool. Alternative Cancer Treatments - Oxygen Therapy

By Dr Bianca Tavares There is much evidence to suggest that oxygen is a major deterrent to the creation and survival of cancer cells in the body and many emminent scientists and researchers consider the development of oxygen-based therapies as key to the ultimate eradication of cancer. There are now several oxygen therapies available, including the use of hydrogen peroxide compounds (H2O2), ozone therapy and even hyperbaric chambers (as used in decompression chambers for deep see divers). In order to understand how human tissue absorbs and uses oxygen, we need first to understand the concept of pH. The term pH refers to concentration of the hydrogen proten, which in turn indicates the degree to which body tissue and fluids is either acidic or alkaline. As a general rule in organic chemistry, acidic compounds tend to expel oxygen, while alkaline compounds absorb it. The contemporary western diet is, to say the least, rich in acid-producing foods, in particular refined sugar, and this is considered to be one of the main reasons that cancer rates have multiplied significantly during the last century. For this reason, many therapeutic diets are specifically designed to eliminate too much acidity. Indeed most avoid over-consumption of sugars, which can be regarded as a major contributor to the onset and progression of cancer. In general, the majority of today’s conventional foods in the West can be considered as acid-forming. This includes meats, bread, grains and cereals. The notable exceptions to this are most fruits and vegetables. It might also be noted that excessive stress and very negative emotions can also cause acidic conditions to arise. Because it takes about 20 parts of alkaline substance to neutralize one part acid, our bodies are constantly struggling to maintain a balance. In the early stages of imbalance, symptoms may be relatively mild, including things like colds and flu. The body then begins to use up alkalising minerals such as calcium to neutralize the excess acid, which in turn can lead to deficiencies. As acid wastes build up, fat is then deposited to protect vital organs (there is a link between excess acidity and obesity). As the acidity increases, microforms such as yeasts multiply in the body, producing more toxins and yet greater acidity, in a vicious circle. Ultimately, it is believed that this can lead to degenerative diseases such as cancer. Alternative health clinics will regularly employ acid-neutralizing minerals, such as calcium, magnesium and potassium, in their treatment programs to assist with correcting acid/alkaline imbalances. Vitamin D is another key component, being essential to calcium obsorption by the organism. Guidelines for testing saliva pH, which is considered to be the most reliable signal of ionic calcium deficiency, are given in the book “The Calcium Factor: The Scientific Secret of Health and Youth” by Carl J Reich, MD and Bob Barefoot. These are: - For the non-deficient and healthy person, pH 7.5 (dark blue) to pH7.1 (blue) i.e. moderately alkaline. - For the moderately-deficient to highly-deficient, pH 6.5 (blue-green) to pH 4.5 (light yellow). - Over half of adults tested have a pH 6.5 or lower, indicating aging and lifestyle defects. - Cancer patients frequently have a pH 4.5, particularly when terminal. - As a point of reference, most children have a pH 7.5. Other acid-neutralizing minerals are Rubidium, Cesium and Vanadium. There are also several proprietary products available commercially, including oxygen-based products that are aimed at maintaining the correct pH balance in the body. I hope that this brief insight into the importance of oxygen in the correct functioning of the body, plus its role in the prevention and treatment of cancer, will encourage you to further investigate this fascinating subject, crucial to your health. As always, you should seek the guidance of a professional medical practioner before taking any medications or undergoing any form of therapy. Growing Orchids Successfully In The Northern Hemisphere

By Neil Day Look in any gardening section of a book store or do a quick search on the Internet and this will give you an idea of just how much people love the Orchid. All around the world enthusiasts are trying to grow these beautiful plants. Their natural habitat is a humid tropical climate, which gives us a bit of a challenge if we are trying to grow them in the Northern Hemisphere. Many people have risen to this challenge and despite the fact that some horticulturists even encounter reproduction problems, as their orchids fail to multiply, others have managed to cultivate thriving Orchid specimens. So as you can see it is not impossible to grow stunning Orchids, even here in the Northern Hemisphere. Here are some essential tips that will heighten your success rate: * Select the right orchids: Even though Orchids prefer tropical climates there are some varieties that are more adaptable than others. Phalaenopsis are becoming the most commonly kept orchids. They are now more available, as garden centres, D.I.Y. stores and supermarkets and florists are now selling them. They are reasonably easy to keep and maintain, and will survive, and thrive in your home, although they mostly require re-potting once a year. * How well do you know your Orchid? Become familiar with your Orchid. Do some research and find out if your Orchids of thrives better the up in the air, down in the soil or a height in between. Your research will let you what elevation your orchid needs. Epiphytes, for example, are air-loving orchids that derive most of the nutrients necessary for their sustenance from the air. Terrestrials, on the other hand, derive their nutrients from the soil, and as such, are best left clinging to the ground. If you didnt do your homework you might not have known this, which would have disastrous effects on your Orchids. * Lights Please: Not all Orchids are alike. Different orchids need different amounts of light. Some varieties, like Dendobriums, demand very bright lights. Other varieties, like Phalaenopsis that we mentioned earlier, can be grown with artificial light. If you want to have a blooming Orchid you need to know how and where you will keep them. * Nice and Healthy: It is important that you keep the soil healthy at all times. Orchids, more than any other plants, demand the highest quality soil. Keeping healthy stunning orchids will require regular fertilization. There’s no substitute for this. If your soil is not the best your Orchid will not survive. * Dont drown them: How often do you water Orchids? There are no hard and fast rules. It all depends: the season, compost and local conditions all affect watering frequency. This may vary from every two or three days in midsummer to once a fortnight or less in midwinter. It is hard to say because each plant is an individual. Experience is the best judge and the only way to gain experience it is best to lift the pot and feel the weight. The light pots need water. If in doubt do not water until next time. The best time to water is in the morning so that surplus water has completely drained away by nightfall. Never, ever leave your orchids standing in water. Rainwater is preferential to tap water and should be warmed to the same temperature as the plants. * Orchids need air. Enthusiasts have been saying it for years but in a way, Orchids are like humans. They’ll choke with stagnant air. Make sure that their habitat is properly ventilated, but not too much, as this could ruin their blooms. When the weather allows, open vents or windows will give your plants the fresh air they need. In the greenhouse small electric fans can be used to move the air around and help keep leaf temperatures down in hot weather. Orchids, however, like humidity, and open vents or windows will dry the atmosphere. In the greenhouse water can be sprayed onto the floor and on the staging between the plants to raise humidity. Following the tips above and by visiting will ensure that you’ll have healthy, beautiful flowers come their season of blossoms. With a little knowledge of their cultural needs, anyone can keep these, and other orchids even in the Northern Hemisphere! The only way to keep up with the latest about growing orchids is to constantly stay on the lookout for new information. If you visit my orchid resources site you’ll find out about orchid care, types of orchid, wholesale orchids, orchid plants and orchid bouquets. It won’t take long for you to become an influential authority. Happy Marriages: Here Come the Relationship Trainers

By Margrit Harris Pavlov’s dog, jumping Shamu, and obedient husbands ~ what do they all have in common? According to Amy Sutherland (in her delightfully told record breaking New York Times article, “What Shamu Taught Me About a Happy Marriage”) behavior modification used on animals works on people to. Of course she is 90% correct. Why do we have to look to animal training to get help for our relationships? Why could an article based on the same information, written by a marriage counselor only get half the press, if that much? It simply isn’t cool to engage the help of the “relationship trainer”. Or at least not yet! Too many bad stigmas in our “I can do it on my own society”? Well, not really, we seek help in many areas of our lives when we might not have in the past. It wasn’t too many years ago that the profession of “personal fitness trainer” didn’t exist. Today people who need to know more about specific exercises for their specific body type or life style don’t hesitate to hire one. One day the same will be true for the “relationship trainer”. How many of us have brought home an adorable puppy only to find that she chews up the check book, leaves warm wet spots on the carpet and annoys the neighbors with her whining while we’re away? Puppy classes have become the answer. Every major pet store and pet supply store now offers them. Many responsible pet owners make use of them; it saves the furniture, keeps the neighbors happy, and preserves your relationship with your dog. Plus there’s an additional unexpected perk, people enjoy the camaraderie they experience with other dog lovers and new friendships and activities result. The same holds true for new parents. They take parenting classes both while pregnant and after the baby arrives, and love to compare notes and feel confident and comfortable with this major life transition. So what’s the problem? Why is it so hard for us to contemplate “relationship classes” before and after marriage? We seem so adamant about using the “trial and error” method instead of making life so much easier, not to mention enjoyable by taking a relationship course and engaging the help of a “relationship trainer”. There are tools, there are programs available geared towards people, so we don’t have to borrow from the animal world. And nowadays you don’t have to leave the comfort of your home. It’s all available online. We’re so spoilt! It’s wonderful! When looking for the right relationship course or class remember the most effective programs include three things: Participation [the program gets you involved in doing something] Accountability [you're held accountable for applying what you learn] Mentoring [one or more people who've been there who personally guide you] Actually we only retain about 1% of our short term memory overtime. One measly percent, that’s pitiful. What a waste of attending a lecture or listening to an audio if we aren’t given the vehicle to make the learning stick. So, pay attention before you put your money down. Be sure the program includes all three of these. Think back on the puppy classes or the personal trainer. Both of these programs get you doing and practicing so that once the allotted time is over you can continue on your own. This is key. You want to get involved with a relationship expert that can teach you skills for life. Here’s another reason why relationship courses are important. We, as human beings, tend to run on auto-pilot. Like the airline pilot who sets the course and then lets the plane computers do their job. The plane flies exactly as programmed. Our lives tend to be like that. We’re programmed from early childhood as to how we act in given situations and how we feel when certain things happen to us. When we get together we must disengage our auto-pilot to accommodate the joint journey. If we don’t we’ll find one of us flying to Paris while the other might be programmed for Honolulu. Doesn’t work does it? Let’s not make the most important decision of our life while operating on emotional auto-pilot. Getting into and keeping that right relationship doesn’t have to be all trial and error, you can get the right guy or the right gal. Listening to CDs on how to court her are not going to do it. Simply finding out your personality type is not going to do it. Hanging around the singles bars is not going to do it. You first have to discover the real you. And just like being physically fit, you can settle for mediocre or you can have a personal trainer help you discover the exercises that are perfect for your body type, your life style and your health level. You can do the same for preparing for a relationship, you can do it hit and miss on your own or you can involve a trainer [relationship expert] to fine tune the real you and to make the most of that real you to attract and keep that right guy or gal. Move over Shamu! Here come the “relationship trainers”! Margrit Harris, MSSW, international relationship expert, speaker and author is co-creator of “Get the Right Guy for the Real You” an online interactive course to position the single woman to attract and keep Mr. Right for life. http://www.gettherightguyfortherealyou.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Margrit_Harris http://EzineArticles.com/?Happy-Marriages:-Here-Come-the-Relationship-Trainers&id=438691 buy-best-k viagra -btvmix online pharmacy prescription drug viagra viagra where to buy in the united kingdom online viagra best price

Table Saws on the Cutting Edge of Technology

By Kenneth Morris Not all saws are created equal. Sure they all make straight cuts in boards, but some types are definitely better than others depending on what type of wood and what type of cuts you want to make. For example, a table saw that will primarily be used to cut plywood and 2×4s for framing new construction is different than one used mostly for cutting intricate scroll work. Both types come in table top or bench top styles, but the difference is in the handle, blades, and fencing that comes with the table saw. Anatomy of A Table Saw The components of a table saw are first the table. This platform or cutting surface can come in several different sizes and heights. For larger workshops, a floor model provides the surface needed for great control in cutting long straight lines. A smaller table allows the saw to fit into smaller shops and also be more portable. Next the handle or arm of the saw will determine what kinds of cuts you can make. Saws that tilt allow for mitre cuts and other angles that are used in trims, mouldings and other decorative treatments. The blade in a table saw is interchangeable. The teeth can be course or fine and which blade is best depends on the wood or other material to be cut. Water, for example, and a ceramic tile blade is used with table saws designed for tile, brick or stone cutting. Even metal can be cut with a table saw. The fence is the guide post for a table saw. A good secure fence will keep wood in place and require less manual effort to control the cut. The fence can also be notched or have cut spaces for different angles, taking much of the guess work out of getting a perfect angled cut. The motor is a part of the table saw experience that is not seen, as it sits under the table, but it is extremely important in providing the horsepower to cut yard after yard of lumber without overheating or burning out. And the Winner Is So how do you know which table saws will stand the test of time and provide safe, high quality cuts for years to come? Table saw reviews are often submitted to manufacturers or by industry publications as a service to prospective buyers. However, the best reviews are the unsolicited ones. Blogs and other online forums can provide reviews and real world experiences from people just like you those who are looking for good quality at a great price and a reliable reputation to boot. Reading and contributing your own review to these online forums helps keep the manufactures on their toes. They know that woodworkers like yourself want to know the real truth about how well a table saw will stand up to the rigors of countless woodworking projects. To summarize, a good table saw consists of a strong motor, reliable guide fence, versatility in interchanging blades, and a strong work surface. Combine those with the name of a reputable manufacturer who has been reviewed by your own peers, and you are sure to pick a winner when it comes to table saws. Ken J. Morris’s long articles can be discovered on a variety of websites tied to information on best table saws and table saw. His comments on table saws can be discovered on http://www.insidewoodworking.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Kenneth_Morris http://EzineArticles.com/?Table-Saws-on-the-Cutting-Edge-of-Technology&id=361393 buy viagra in uk where can i buy viagra online order discount viagra order sildenafil

Standardizing the Mobile Phone Connectors - The Korea Case

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Hans_Bool]Hans Bool The Korean government (“Ariadna how Korea stopped the adaptor mess,” el Mundo) issued a standard that mobile phone adaptors should share a universal connector. No matter what brand the phone, providers will have to comply with a universal connector. This seems a very wise decision of the Korea government. Japan and China are said to follow this example soon. The availability of an overdoses of connectors can be a real nuisance. Especially in the innovative mobile phone market where you ought to buy a new one every six months. And every new device will not connect to the previous car set, adaptor, etc. because the (non) standard is for each device slightly (non) adapted. “The family Park uses eight mobile phones from three different suppliers,” but all use the same universal adaptor. How much adaptors do you use yourself, questions the newspaper next. Too many to count in my case. A standard rule is quite efficient. There will be an absolute lower amount of adaptors which is a win for nearly everybody. It will increase the overall productivity of a country because of the increased efficiency and less waste, even though the old adaptors could be recycled. The quality of life also increases; just replace the mobile adaptor for the remote control and think how nice it would be if you could use only one (for TV,VCR, DVD, Stereo, etc) instead of four or five. But it requires a central coordination principle. In order to benefit from a standardized output the stakeholders in the production and supplying process should comply to more rules and this will lead (automatically) to less freedom. Any central government (read office) could be wrong. What if this new standard turns out to increase the time-to-market or to diminish the opportunities to develop new features or delays production? (Therefore) whether western countries will follow this strategy remains uncertain. Perhaps they can import the new standard, but the more western approach is to let the markets go; out there some innovative company could just invent “the” connector that will outperform all others designed previously. From such a success will follow an new standard automatically without government interference. It is possible, but whether it will happen… 2007 Hans Bool Hans Bool writes articles about management, culture and change. Copy Others When Trying To Lose Weight

By Shawn LeBrun Over the past few years while working as a personal trainer, I’ve been fortunate enough to study weight loss, and more importantly, success. I’ve also come to realize a very important concept about both of them. Successful weight loss is not so much what you know. In fact, success with weight loss is also not completely dependent upon what you do. What is important and what ultimately leads to permanent, successful weight loss is what you know and do together that makes all the difference. Let me illustrate the point that simply just exercising or just dieting without knowledge of what to work on doesn’t guarantee success. I’ve worked in a health club setting in the past both as a personal trainer as well as a fitness coordinator. I’ve seen many, many people exercising without a trainer and without knowledge of what it truly takes to change their body. Many of these people, even working out five to six times a week for the two years I worked in this particular health club, did not change their bodies hardly at all in those two years. In fact, I witnessed many people exercise for hours a day, six days a week not slim down or gain lean muscle at all. They were doing something, in fact, many of them were doing quite a bit. But were they making weight loss a habit or just an hour’s worth of time spent six or seven days a week. I will tell you this: Simply exercising a lot is not the key to weight loss. These people were missing a key element that consisted of more than just doing exercises. They were missing the element of being informed and educated about the principles behind weight loss. They were missing the principle that weight loss must be more than exercise, more than diet, and more than aerobics. Weight loss must be the correct approach to all of these and must be in such a proportion that they become habit soon after implementing them. The flipside is true as well. Just knowing how to change your body will not change it without taking some form of consistent action and putting the knowledge to use. The key to achieving permanent weight loss is the combination of knowledge and action, knowing and doing. Over a long enough time, this combination of knowing and doing will hopefully evolve into habit where you start doing certain things that attribute to weight loss without even consciously thinking of them. You begin eating certain healthy foods at certain time. You become used to going directly to the gym after work. Weight loss must be a habit for it to be long term. Any time you revert back to the old, unproductive lifestyle, the chance of that old weight also comes back. Any time that you decide to abandon these principles you run the risk of ending one habit pattern and forming another one. If you have any doubts that changing your body for the better will also change your life for the better, I can tell you personally that it does. Since I’ve lost over 50 pounds three years ago, my life has changed dramatically. I have more energy, I feel better about myself, I have a new fulfilling career, and much more. And it all started when I hit the point of frustration and decided that enough was enough. From that moment of frustration came a moment of clarity, one that stays with me to this day. For out of that frustration came desperation and dissatisfaction and out of dissatisfaction came power. Power to finally take responsibility of my actions, power to choose having a great body over having a piece of pizza. This dissatisfaction produced great motivation because I was at a place where I no longer wanted to be and I knew it would be me and only me that made the choice to change. I began to ask myself very hard questions that only I knew the answers to. Soon after really getting to know exactly what I wanted to acheive,I went from a depression-like state to finally having purpose and knowing why I was put here on this earth. Just 12 weeks prior, I wasn’t even sure if I could walk up the stairs of my house without getting tired. I was constantly talking to my self negatively and many times told myself that I was too fat to feel happy and was too fat to make anything worthwhile out of my life. Now I was entering a fitness competition and no longer had the overbearing feelings of depression and anxiety. I made this all happen in 12 weeks. This was enough time to make certain productive actions habit. I also made the decision to study certain aspects of success in weight loss and success in life. My belief was “Hey, if there are people achieving and recieving exactly what it is I want to have, then it’s possible for me to get it as well.” I think that was the deciding point in my life where I made success and weight loss a journey. It was and still is a journey I undertook not just to help myself escape the depressing chains that often come with being overweight, but more importantly a journey I make to help other people realize that they do not have to put up with the frustration in their lives from being overweight. If you’re willing to make the choice to change, you can follow the same steps I took to change my life. However, you need to be frustrated where you are right now. If not I am not sure the motivation to continue will be powerful enough to stick this out. Good things come from combining frustration with a plan. So as I talk to you using the words in this article, I want you to understand that I am going to take your hand and lead you through the path of weight loss habit and ultimately success. You can take comfort in knowing that I’ve been on both sides. I want to take you to this other side with me. Make a study of successful weight loss and resolve to learn exactly what it is you need to do to change your body. I learned what it took to lose fat by studying other bodybuilders, fitness competitors, and athletes. I learned they all took certain steps to get lean, toned, muscular bodies. That’s when I realized that if you model and copy other successful people, you too can achieve similar results. It’s the same principle behind using a roadmap. It’s quicker following a path that has already been laid out for you than trying to arrive somewhere by trial and error. Use my roadmap of weight loss success. It’s not a difficult map to follow. In fact, the simplicity of it often times makes people think that it may not work. Many people are afraid of simplicity They feel that anything worthwhile has to be achieved through a long and difficult process. This is just not the case. I was able to get my best body ever by simply following some simple, effective methods that soon became habit for me anyways. You will not have to make weight loss a long study, just make it a study. You will soon see that the recommended advice in this program and any other that you study have been around for as long as you can remember. You will also read things you have read many times before. Again, its because there really is not anything new that has been “discovered” about weight loss. The age-old advice of proper nutrition and exercise is still useful today. But if that’s all it took, why is it we are getting more overweight as a society each and every year. A full 60% of the U.S. adult population is now considered overweight. Americans are spending over 35 billion dollars each year on health and weight loss related products. This seems to be of little success. Things are not working because people are not approaching it correctly. People see weight loss as something they work for for a ittle while and then give up. That will not work. Weight loss must become and stay a habit for it to be permanent. If you follow and use these steps laid out in this book until they become habit, you will not have to worry about weight loss again. The Law of Cause and Effect is in direct use here. If you take specific actions, you will get certain results. We are struggling as a sociey with weight loss because people are attempting to combat it with short term solutions and it is not a short term problem. We have to get to the root of the problem, which is peoples behavior towards weight loss. Successful weight loss is 80% behavior and only 20% “know-how.” The age old advice of “Eat nutritiously and exercise often” falls into this “know how” group and simply doesn’t get the job done. The answer lies in the “behavior” end of the plan. Once you begin to change your behavior for the better, you will also begin to change your outcome. By changing your behavior so that certain steps you take become habit will ensure that weight loss will follow as a direct result of that behavior. Shortly we will cover some of the steps you can take to change your behavior and, in effect, your life. You can have anything you want in life by copying someone else that has already achieved and has what you want. You can learn and study the things that others have done that has led them to the same goals you have. Why spend all that time re-inventing the weight loss wheel. Just begin dooing some of the things they did to achieve what it is you want. By learning from books, tapes, courses, and other informative tools, you can learn, study, and have anything that anyone else has. The mere fact that they possess it is proof that you can as well. You are human and they are human. What anyone else has and has done, you can as well. The only variable is how hard you are willing to work to get it and the effort you put in. The possibilities are endless for what you can learn, do, and have by studying what others have done successfully. This can be the case with weight loss and fitness as well. The deciding factor is whether or not you’ll take the action necessary to get what you want. Simply reading a “how-to” book will not help you much if you don’t put it’s principles into action. That is the reason that most “self-help” books contain action exercises at the end of each chapter. Knowledge is not much use by itself. It’s what you do with that knowledge that matters. By putting into action certain steps, you more than likely will get certain results. That is not the case with just reading something and failing to use it. You must apply to your own situation what it is you just read and that is where the magic begins. You have the power to decide what you will do and what you will accept in your life. You must be willing to demand more from yourself than others would demand from you. You can start by making better choices in your life about how you eat, live, and exercise. The result will be a greater physical and emotional self than you have ever experienced before. After all, changing your outside for the better goes hand in hand with changing your inside for the better. So if you’re looking to lose weight, gain muscle, or achieve any worthwhile goal, find someone that’s already done it and copy what they did! Learn how to lose fat and gain toned muscle in less time. People Who Pester You

By Maria Moratto Q: What do you do with people who require blessings every day? A: You keep blessing them everyday. Do you have people in your life who truly bother you in big ways? I call them our soul attachments. Some people come into our lives for many reasons and a few are certainly intended to make us pay some debts to our karma bank or to our thought patterns. They feel and look like those bugs that you want to get rid of but never succeed. They grasp your hair, crawl all over you, tickle and bite you leaving your skin itching, inflamed, and sore. They get inside your ears making a permanent buzzing sound. They get into your eyes making everything look blurred and teary. They get into your mouth making things taste sour. They attach to your feet and give your blisters. They walk all over you when you sleep, and then you have nightmares. Having one of these people in our lives is a terrible thing and much worse is having more than one. Some of us do. Sometimes, you havent seen these people for ages and sometimes these people are not even living any longer. Still the sour memory of them is enough to trigger a huge discomfort in your being. Having to live with these people or their memory day in and day out, hour after hour, minute after minute is no picnic. It requires a massive dose of self-control, determination, and forgiveness. Not that they are constantly in your face, but the simple thought of them makes you wish you had a magic wand and then, with a flip of your wrist you could point it to the person and exclaim: “disapparatus!” or something like this and they would vanish. Or perhaps you wish you had you own pair of the ruby slippers and just by clicking the heels your wish would come true. Ah! What a great dream. However, based on your history with this person or persons, this dream remains a dream, unless… Unless you truly believe you have a magic wand or the ruby slippers, then the sky is the limit. Truth be told, we do have the wand and the slippers. Though we cant see them with our naked eyes, they already exist in all of us. We can do wonders with them; we only need to put them to work. They are called “thoughts.” Now, based on the Law of Attraction, you already know what to do with your thoughts: treat them with the utmost love, consideration, and respect; as though you are caring for your silver vases. You clean, you shine, you protect, and you display them in the best part of your home. So just do the same with your thoughts: think positive; send love, bless; forgive. How long do you have to do this regarding those persons who really, truly bug you? Good question. My answer is: How long is your life? You keep doing it over and over and over and one day, just like that, you finally understand with your heart and you truly believe you have the magic wand or the ruby slippers. That will be the day when they will go away from your life, once and for all. Maria Moratto 2006 Want to have more abundance, health, time, love, fun, and blessings?
